Big thank yous

There are quite a few people who need to be thanked for making the wedding day the special day that it was. Couldn’t have done it without them, their support and their friendship.

Here we go in no particular order:

Parents and grandparents For your love and support before, during and after the special day.

Bridal party – Emma Bain, Andrea McArthur, Troy Watts, Geoffrey Nicholson, Dominique & Hiromi McLaren and also Lachlan & Ryan McCarthy.

Emma Bain – chief bridesmaid and Lisa’s best friend. Thank you for all of your help, opinion and being there for Lisa.

Andrea McArthur – bridesmaid and also your help with the design of the invitation.

Troy Watts – best man and for always being there.

Geoffrey Nicholson – groomsman and making everything more photogenic.

Ken McLaren – taking time off to come down early and help with behind the scenes and also for giving the bride away and being the witness. It meant a lot to the bride and groom to have you there.

Jenni Pack – wedding dress alterations.

John Poulter – great wedding speech.

Lex Swayn – would-be driver of the bridal car if Plan B did not have to be accessed,  and all-round helper before, during and after the wedding including your help during the ‘toilet cistern flooding the apartment’ incident during the honeymoon overseas. Long story but glad that new carpet is in place.

Brett Swayn – great master of ceremonies and all-round helper before and during the wedding day.

John Chalmers – kilt fitting.

Shelagh Chalmers – witness and kilt fitting.

Simon Chate & Paola Murdoch – beautiful singing accompaniment to the wedding.

Simon Chate & Leigh Cross – beautiful singing accompaniment to the reception.

Lisa Chant – late night construction of ceremony fans, ceremony set-up, reception set-up checker, reception food taste testing, groom and groomsmen kilt pick-up and drop-off plus many other things before the event and on the day.

Jeff Nolan – helping with odd jobs for the groom.

Jennifer Dudley – ceremony set-up.

Olivia Mason – ceremony set-up.

Darren Swan – ceremony set-up.

Elisa Lago (Elspa) making the bride and the bridesmaids look beautiful with her make-up expertise, making the bride super relaxed on the wedding day by running a relaxing spa bath and providing a massage the night before.

Alice Eng – behind the scenes running around on day before and day of wedding.

 

Rebecca Mora Hambly (The Point Ballina) making the day run so smoothly, the great food that was enjoyed by all and allowing the wedding reception to take over the Ballina Ramada and The Point Restaurant.

Kathryn Murphy (civil celebrant) helping to make the wedding ceremony so special and so of the essence of the couple.

Carlos & Margaret Rolfo (Standout Images) professional photographers that captured the moments on the day.

Alison Elford (Alstonville Florist) the beautiful bridal party bouquets and flowers.

Greg Smith (Greg’s Cakes) making the beautiful wedding cake that everyone enjoyed.

Sarah Robertson (Cart & Co) the beautiful nautical-themed drink cart that you made for the wedding ceremony.

Aimee Dugan (A.K.D. Entertainment) providing the smash hit of the event, the Photobooth which captured those candid silly moments during the reception.
